The Alpha Press SL-1930 is the model for both the plumbing & electrical industry where size ranges from 15mm to 35mm for metalic pipe systems such as copper, carbon steel and stainless steel whereas the tool can be used between 16mm to 32mm on plastic PEX and multilayer plumbing systems.
On electrical crimping it utilities a carrier jaw with insert die with range from 15mm2 to 300mm2.
Marketing leading weight distribution at only 2.5kg mean that the SL-1930 reduces muscle stress but delivers 19kn of out put force to ensure that joint is secure.

Electrical Crimping Die Profiles
Alpha Press crimping dies are available on request in varying profile shapes. Our standard profile shape is configured most commonly for hexagon shaped crimping and generally used with copper universal lug ferrules.
For aluminium ferrules, dependant on the ferrule manufacturer, the fitting, shape and outer dimension is likely to be slightly smaller than the more common copper ferrules. In this case, care should be taken on selecting correct sized ferrules.
Alternatively, specific aluminium dies can be requested.

For Hexagon ferrules in aluminium, the table shown in the images shows disparity between sizes in copper and may assist in the dies use.
